absolutely impossible. Bogey team on Saturday and the biggest Euro away game in possibly forever less than 72 hours after that. Not one player who plans to start in Munich should step on the pitch tomorrow.

I'm sorry to say that I got dropped out of the squad at the last moment! But that's just how football is!

That's such a shame. Can't help but feel really sorry for the lad and slightly miffed at Mancini. He deserves a chance and to dash his hopes at the last minute is shite for him

So how many players are left from the team of Wembley winners?

Four of the starters — Stephen Carr, Liam Ridgewell, Nikola Zigic and Keith Fahey.

How many are likely to play against Manchester City?

Probably none. Two of them are injured anyway.

I think Assulin will be at least on the bench, he is to old to play in the nextgen series and too inexperienced to play in the first team week in week out.
City did a lot of hard work to land him and with all the hype about him i would love to see him linking up with Mario and Carlos. Mancini should give the lad at least half an hour.
The guy is gonna be a star!

Who told him he was in the squad in the first place?

Quite gutting to tell him he's in and then reverse it!
