When you see a losing manager interviewed and he says I cannot understand why we were so poor, and I cannot understand why we keep losing, you have to think his time is up. Ridiculous decision to replace Eustace with Rooney, and entirely predictable what has happened.

They were in the play-off places when they sacked Eustace for Rooney. Now they're 3 places off the relegation zone. The fans must be furious.

He wants to put Birmingham in the media for the publicity so he told the owners make Rooney manager it will put us in the media make us more viable for bigger sponsors and so on!

The 'muricans have a mixed record when it comes to ownership of football clubs in Blighty. Obviously, FSG have improved Liverpool, up to a point. But they were starting from a pretty low point (Hicks and Gillette). One PL and one champions league in, what, 10 years or so. Along with a couple of domestic cups. It's pretty meagre returns for a club with such 'ist'ree. Similar with Kroenke at Arsenal. No PL since 2004, and no CL, ever. A couple of domestic cups is about it for them. The hierarchy at Brum have had a disastrous start, appointing "Wazza". On the other side of the coin, Wrexham have had a major boost since deadpool and his mate took over the club. It'll be interesting to see if they can consolidate, maybe get another promotion or two in the next, say 5 years. And we'll have to see how 777 get on if/when they complete the takeover of Everton. I thought there was another club with American owners that have underperformed, but I can’t think of it right now.

Villa was a fucking shambles under Lerner. Know one third of their beer deliveries were getting back doored via white vans across pubs in Birmingham and the Black Country for a couple of years. Club only realised when they changed suppliers. No one thought to wonder why the beer stocks didn’t tally with what they were being invoiced for and paying. Like one third of their fucking stock! I am told this was typical of how the club was run.

Tbf, Wrexham is a bit different, they are not business men, who are just in it to make money. It's also probably unfair to say they are using Wrexham as a "toy".... as so far they seem pretty good owners from the outside.
