Birmingham City Thread - 2023/24 | Rooney sacked after 15 games

I’ve had a soft spot for Birmingham City reason their badge in my panini book, but can’t stand that Scouse no mark at the helm, …

He will be sacked after 10/15 games next season after finishing midtable this season!

Just look at his record and the way his teams play football utter shite

Mid table?

They're in free fall and not too many points off the relegation zone. They've picked up 5 points out of a possible 27 since Rooney took over.

They're going to be in a relegation battle.

Does weetabix head get these gigs because he played under Taggart? A lot of these ex players seem to get managers jobs even though they are absolutely shit at it.
It’s astounding. Not a single player that the piss can worked with has gone on to be a good manager, not one.

Compare that to Pep and you can already see the effect he is having on the global game. A fair number of managers that have been on his coaching staff or played under him are becoming top class coaches and winning trophies.

You already know Gundogan will become a manager and very likely a brilliant one.

United were for want of a better term, flat track bullies, very much like their manager. It was of course incredibly successful, but it’s not left a legacy. The players didn’t need to be students of the game, and it’s damning that you never hear the likes of Neville, Keane with their Sky platform talking about the philosophy they learnt.

Same here, I quite like Brum. For some reason I have them as theMidlands team I watch out for. Probably because they play in blue and are called City.
