Bizzar & Funny things you have see at a City match

Years ago at Port Vale away the HT entertainment was a match between some amputee footballers. TBF to them, they weren't holding back at all, cue chants of "sign 'em up, sign 'em up, sign 'em up" from the City fans :)

my dad threw a chicken as peter schmeical when he played for the rags!!!!
united lost to galatasery the week b4

In the game against Charlton on NYE 2000. We were already 3-0 down when Steve Howey, 30 yards out, bangs a clearence against Claus Jensen who is stood right in front of him. The ball flys back towards goal, over Nicky Weaver and in, putting us 4-0 down.
The goal was gutting for me as I was only young, but there was a few blues next to us who were already resigned to losing and watching the whole thing with "OOOOOAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH YEEEEEEAAAAAHHHHH!!" as the ball went up and over Weaver. Then they all started jumping up and down celebrating. My first memory of humour at City.

city humiliate the rags 5-1 me + my dad walkin out of maine rd towards the platt lane end smiling like cheshire cats a rag { pissed out of his head} susses were blues tries to punch me in the guts .... misses falls over!!!! oh how we chuckled !! happy days

I seem to remember Brian Kidd taking out a ball boy with a shot from outside the area in the late 70's knocked him right off his feet

a few of the older ones wil remember this,

huge blow-up animals being passed around maine road when we went through a bad stage and lost almost every match, instead of not attending matches we just took amusing 10ft blow-up dolls and turned the place into a circus...only ay city eh. LOL
