Blackburn Away 2000

Working for CIS who were sponsoring Blackburn at the time I managed to get some tickets but in the Darwin end with the Blackburn fans. I remember walking up into my seat and the stand being full of city fans singing and chanting. I think if memory serves me right we were playing absolultly awful were 1 nil down we were getting batterd, then the Goat scored and things just turned around well the rest is history.

Invaded the pitch and the end but couldn't get anywhere near the players. Even Joe Royle got mobbed crazy stuff.

Off topic I know but can't stand a thread, my mates been see Sunderland at ewood tonight and apparently fernhurst no longer let's any away fans in for any game and is more family orientated!

big sports shop in the lake district area, ambleside? Went in there a couple of yrs ago and theres this massive big picture of the City fans that day, about 50 by 40.

That's the "Homes of Football" exhibition. He took loads of pictures that day.

I could see myself on that picture - so have got a limited edition print of it in my downstairs toilet. The shop is shut now though. He was moving it to the FA museum in Preston?

The day was my best. Ended up getting a ticket at less than face value after driving up on my own
