Blair's legacy

It was the setting up of Legal Chambers by his wife so that she could sue the Government for failures of the Human Rights Act put in place by him that stinks if you think about it.
Agenda.

Agenda.

The result being a lot of red tape, tax payers cash going to her and her cronies, and a paralysing effect on certain sections of government.
It has hindered the country in my opinion and all for the whim of an out of touch fool of a woman and the business it has funneled her way.

I remember Billy Bragg eulogising over him back in the day.

That's how Labour works though I suppose - it's just people worshipping a proper noun, and taking no account whatsoever of what the party actually stands for, what it does in Government, or who represents it.

i guess now you have written it, it will be enshrined as the truth, however, here he is back in May 96 before Blair's reign.

Billy Bragg, the socialist singer who once championed Labour's cause in the pop charts, has turned his back on the party.
In an interview with the Independent on Sunday Review published today, he tells of his disenchantment with Tony Blair's New Labour, suggesting its vision of Britain's future "looks like part of the Eighties".
He has left the party, and says he would be able to see "very good reasons" to vote for Arthur Scargill's Socialist Labour Party if proportional representation were introduced.

I suppose that is how the torys work, people just making up stuff and having no idea what it means and just write garbage to suit the debate of the day or maybe you just got him mixed up with Noel Gallagher.
