I agree, and I too supported the war to ditch Saddam. I didn't believe in WMD, I supported it for the very reason that made it illegal; to get regime change.His legacy is tarnished by Iraq but at the time I believe he did what he thought was right and got a huge majority in parliament supporting action. In retrospect it was a huge mistake but who would have have thought that having dictators like Saddam Hussein and Gaddafi in power would be better than what actually happened?
But don't governments employ and use the services of "intelligence experts" and others to advise on these matters? Did they also get it wrong, or were they ignored?

That's the second time today you have questioned the moderating of the site.
Newsflash for you, i have better things to do, honestly than pull threads and clean them up because some just wont listen.
People only need to adhere to a few rules and this place would run like a dream and threads would never have to disappear to be cleaned up.

Too true, mate. I deliberately broke the rules today for a specific purpose. It achieved its goal but I once again apologise for using the forum in this manner. Hope that dinner and so on was sorted. All the mods do a fantastic job. The level of self-indulgence on here is quite astounding. I am the worst culprit, obviously.
