He said, along the lines of, there are some real heroes, when they say that footballers are brave or heroic its a joke when you compare them to these.What footballers do is insignificant when you think what these guys do.

The best I can say about him is that I begrudgingly accept he hasn't been the biased twat I expected him to be in front of the cameras. I have to say it's like having an affair this feeling! Odious, disgusting little twat as a player, but I actually find myself nodding in agreement with everything he says, and despite his inevitable nerves when he first started, (his interview with Mancini still makes me piss), he gets his point across very, very well. I watched MNF last night and his analysis of every single game was spot on. He is, dare I say it, a breath of fresh air on there compared to Keys and Grey, who's condescending tones and bickering became tiresome by the time they were carted. Ed Chaimberlain is annoying though, as whatever Neville said he just butted in time and time again.
Neville or not, it's good to watch the analysis off someone who knows what he's talking about for a change, compared to MOTD.

I watched the Spurs game last night, and his analysis before, during and after was really top notch. Also note that i did not put inverted commas around the word analysis - he's the only pundit where i don't feel that is applicable. His tactical knowledge is very impressive.
