One of the best pundits on TV, I'd rather listen to him than Jamie Redknapp talk bollocks for five minutes without actually saying anything. I like Souness too.

But even then, its all a fuckin act and when I hear City fans lavishing praise on him, I think its a bit of a kick in the teeth to those of us without short memories!! And for someone who supposedly hates scousers so much, he doesn't half fuckin look like one with that shit tache!! Horrible ****
He is actually a scouser though.
nah he's from Bury. and what someone said about him having to please the majority now that he's quit is spot on.
agreed, he`s a good punditCitizen_Ando said:Defo rather him then Redknapp, Wilkins, Burley, Hansen, Shearer etc, etc. He talks sense and does not come across as a bitter biased twat. I couldn't care less what he 'really' thinks off camera so long as he gives us credit when its due on camera. Especially when so many are keen to de-stable our club I welcome his honest approach.

Spot on analysis that. It's mad to think though as when he was announced many of us, myself included, face palmed thinking he would be a proper ****!M18CTID said:Citizen_Ando said:Defo rather him then Redknapp, Wilkins, Burley, Hansen, Shearer etc, etc. He talks sense and does not come across as a bitter biased twat. Exactly. Some people are missing the point here - the bloke is not just an ex-United player but also someone who grew up supporting them. As such, he's bound to hate us and what he thinks of us away from his job is irrelevant.
However, unlike some pundits - who have far less reason to dislike us than Neville does - he manages to put his loyalties to one side and evaluate things in an impartial way. And as dirty as I feel saying it, there's no doubting that his lack of bias on-screen coupled with his excellent punditry in general (away from when City are playing) makes him arguably the best pundit around.

What Jamie Redknapp is on there for I don't know. All he does is try and get a stuttered point across, then buckle when one of the Gullit's or Souness' of this world corrects him. I could do a better job than Redknapp.
