All great letters and well done to all, however I fear you will get little if any response. What we need to do is have a culture like they have with The Sun in Liverpool and make sure EVERY city fan knows they should NEVER, EVER buy this rag.

I'm not really expecting to get a response from the mirror, but its just important to let them know that us blues are sick of reading their poorly informed, often made up, spiteful, anti-city articles in that rag!!!!

Here's a league table of the Papers on the veracity of their transfer rumours

Paper Right Total Num Accuracy
The Times 11 54 20.37 %
The Sun 13 87 14.94 %
The Guardian 4 27 14.81 %
Daily Mail 14 97 14.43 %
Independent 4 32 12.5 %
Daily Mirror 22 192 11.46 %
News of the World 6 64 9.38 %
The People 4 46 8.7 %
Daily Telegraph 2 26 7.69 %
Daily Star 5 68 7.35 %
The Express 3 42 7.14 %
Daily Record 0 11 0 %

So basically the Mirror has published 170 stories on City transfer targets that were complete b@llocks.

95% of journos are Rags or Scousers - FACT. We're in for a bumpy ride, get used to it.

Dear Dan,
having just finished reading ian winwoods article on Manchester City, I thought that it raised a few interesting points and certainly offered an unusual view of my club and in someways its fans.

I would request that you send this writer along to ever game at the City of Manchester Stadium, and as we have all now seen a photograph of this gentleman, I for one will look forward to be given the chance to discuss Mr.Winwoods thought provoking views face to face.

Having only ever read your paper whilst in prison I am slightly concerned that a paper like yours with a dwindling readership could actually afford to alienate large amounts of potential customers but I guess that is a desicion you thought long and hard about before you published this drivel.

On a brighter note if I do meet Mr Winwood at the match I will probably be renewing my patronage of your publication very soon afterwards.

yours ............
