Neil Finn dropped the "e" from the good doctor's name, so it's not really about the famous explorer, but close enough given the tenuous nature of some of the nominations so far!

I's an interesting song for Crowded House - from the Afterglow album, which is an album of discarded tracks most of which would fit comfortably on a proper release. The lyrics were inspired by Neil Finn's visit to Africa when on a charity effort.

Usually I like to say something or pick out a key line, but this one doesn't need much.

A band I really like, seen live this one really has some gusto and the knees up. The recorded version is a fair bit tamer, but still has some energy particularly the second half.

And unlike a few more obscure links or 'mood' name drops, this one very much touches on the person and their role in history.
