Blue Moon Rising TV

That's vile.

Is there really a market for an ugly bastard to swear his head off in front of a camera like that? I don't get these fan channels.

They're not all like that. This clip shows Arsenal Fan TV doing much the same to camera after they won 2-0 at the Etihad last season. You can clearly see that coming to the Etihad and beating City is a very big deal these days, but unlike RedmenTV there's none of the bile and psychosis we get with that Scouse bastard....

The title says it all.

I wasn't trying to generalise and suggest they are all full of hatred and aggression (in fact I've never seen that much swearing before seeing that scouse one).

But I still don't "get" them, all they are doing is replicating the average conversation you mind have with mates at the pub.

I'll stick to reading Bluemoon, twitter and having my own conversations with people to generate city-related entertainment and debate, but maybe thats just me.

That's one of the points TPF was making: these channels are backed by companies who have found a new way to cash-in (literally, if they are turning a profit) on the fans :
My beef with corporate owned fan channels is they have the appearance of grungy authenticity, out on the rainy streets, talking to real supporters, run by fans for fans, but it's fake, despite it being staffed by genuine supporters, they are part of yet another money making opportunity.

RedMenTV is, as far as I can see, independent of any of the media companies mentioned in this thread. That's probably why they allow themselves to vent their spleen, to the point where as well as the free-to-view videos on youtube, they have a subscription-only "uncensored" channel. I suspect the video above should have been on there!

I'm glad "our" channel doesn't go in for that sort of stuff and I suspect that the guys who front BMRTV wouldn't go that route anyway, irrespective of any external company involvement.

But speaking as someone who lives a long way from Manchester and who doesn't get to have regular chats with fellow supporters, BMRTV is a bonus.

Back with another Walters Glass Half Full. Picking the bones out of the Liverpool game, City in Europe and a truly stupid poster who believes that Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Leeds!?!? are the only true English teams. Some weeks are harder than others to be positive but I think I've just about covered it. Hope you enjoy chaps and ladies

The only man I know who successfully defies the logic that you can't polish a turd.

Always look on the bright side of life.....

Glad you feel better The Perfect Fumble that's in many ways the aim. This weeks Glass Half Full was a damn sight easier to do with us sitting pretty at the top of the league and everyone else dropping points around us. The issues tackled this week were fans from other clubs calling our ground 'The Emptihad' and people not appreciating just how good Yaya has been for us. Always appreciate the positive words by fellow blues on here. Thank You, Anyhow here it is:-

Cheers Pal. As I said before I enjoy doing them. After this weeks awful performance against Stoke it's one of them where you hold your hands up and say we didn't deserve the win but the bigger picture of Manchester City is a lot rosier than Stoke away. Anyhow taking on the negativity of YouTube is what I enjoy, hope some of you guys enjoy this one too.
