Were you in the Main Stand when he swallowed his tongue?

I thought you'd run a mile when fronted out. Another one outed.

D Day truly approaches.

Sorry pal,had to pick my daughter up from school. Wasn't in the mainstand, was sat in N.Stand with my mate Codge. The silence was eerie.Honestly I'm blue through & through, even got crest on my leg(new 1,want the old 1 on my other leg but missus put her foot down),I try to be objective, used to post on MUEN under DoyleysVsign, got pissed off with not getting posted, decided to come on bluemoon, coz have always considered most blues are not only City fans but knowledgable football fans.I know you think I'm a rag,but you couldn't be further from the truth.Soz pal but am here to stay, understand if you don't agree with what I posted earlier, like I said maybe I'm chatting shit about bright colours & them giving the brain the edge,it's just a point of view & there to be shot down.
D Day certainly does approach & I think that the derbies could well decide the fate of the premiership this season, that's another thread altogether,I just hope It's coming to the Etihad.3 points & the winner from Super Mario, then he can wink & wind camelgob up at the swamp too.
TTFN,homework to do now! lol

I wasnt keen when the kit first came out, but it really hasnt bothered me all that much. As long as we keep winning games, I couldnt give a fuck what colour shorts we have on :)

Before you go, Lakey, which end of the pitch did Lakey swallow his tongue at? And why was the Main Stand relevant to the full story?

Wasn't keen on the blue when I first saw them but they've grown on me and now I like them. Wouldn't be complaining if we kept the all blue kit for next season.

I think the baby/powder blue we have this season makes us look like a load of softies, which is made a lot worse by having the same colour shorts, hideous. We look a much bigger and harder team in the away strip.

We could try the black away shorts with the home kit, like Uruguay but the traditionalist whities would never go for that.

Jeez, don't you think the fella has had enough of the interrogation now?

What is your stance on this for City?

I really like the colour of this seasons kit too, almost like a white ish blue, more so than the usual Sky blue.
I wish they'd just wear white shots :( The blue on blue just looks slightly tacky.
+1

Last season's shorts and socks were the best. That was the City I first started supporting.

Is it really necessary to change shorts and socks every year? I know it makes some money for some people, but really...

I've only just seen this as it's obviously been 'bumped'. Not being funny Didsbury Dave but who the fuck do you think you are? The fella's credentials are obviously sound so that interrogation was completely not needed.

Oh and just to answer the question, the Main Stand was relevant because the then club Doctor Norman Loft had to get down from the directors box, however Roy Bailey had already released the tongue from Lakey's airway. City won the match 4-2 and Trevor Morley scored three.

White shorts for me because it's our traditional strip - but these blue shorts we wear now look nice with the current shirt.
