Pink Floyd - Poles Apart

For what it's worth, I can't think of many Floyd tracks worse than your choice here mate.

All I can think is you're not a Floyd fan at all BH. Choosing that track off what I think is their worst album suggests to me you picked it out of the bargain bucket in a Red Cross shop pal; )

I don't agree that Division Bell is their worst album: I'd prefer to listen to it than Atom Hear Mother or Ummagumma - although they are more "inventive" - but I wholeheartedly agree that that there's a legion of Floyd tracks better than Poles Apart and by better, I mean they are poles apart.

Each to his own and all that but this selection is actually sinful.

My choice would be Shine on You Crazy Diamond.

Probably my 3rd favourite band , have most of their albums and the Division Bell is one of my favorite's - probably the most atmospheric one they've done and thats why i love it so much , Dark Side Of the Moon is their best though

I have to admit Division Bell is an album I've never owned. Heard it a few times but couldn't take to it. Last Floyd album I bought was Momentary Lapse Of Reason which I wasn't too keen on but played it a lot back in the day to try and get into it. I find Dave Gilmour's influence is a bit too wishy washy and mellow for my liking without Water's stamp on the tracks. I've never even listened to their last album Endless River TBH. Floyd died as a band when Waters left for me. Love all RW solo albums except his rather obscure 1970 'Music From The Body' album which I once had.
