Bluemoon Angling Thread

Love catching up on this thread, even if it's days apart. It's amazing. Got Idahoe commenting on the Nene at Wadenhoe which is 5 minutes away from me (FFS I thought he resided in 'America'). DD and Newman are absolute heroes with their 'Mr Crabtree' like posts and photos. Respect to you all. Wouldn't it be amazing if after all this mess is over, we get a huge hired residence on say the Severn for a few days and have a good damn crack! For those that are able to get out over the next few days /the weekend, enjoy. Not looking forward to tomorrow, got a 400 mile round trip in these weather conditions to attend my mums internment in Liverpool

Haha,I do reside in Idaho and have for the last 30 plus years. I grew up in Titchmarsh and Wadenhoe was one of my locals in my youth, in fact started riding our bikes down there in the 70’s. Bert, the old Landlord would sell us a couple of pints as long as we walked down to the river and stayed out of the way
 
not been out for nearly a month, with work like it is at the moment were not getting much notice about going in, airlines are chopping and changing , so if im not fishing i spend my free time working, just invested in a new pike rod and bait caster reel, abu garcia pro max, cant wait t blank on it :), anyway if your out fishing today lets have plenty of pics everyone (@BlueMoonRisin' ) if i cant get out i enjoy looking at the beautiful pics on here.

Just getting gear In my car and I'm of piking for the day. Bit of a rise in temperature may just see me bank one pal.
 
Good luck BMR. I've been out three times with lures in the last week and not had a touch, but the increase in temperatures is definitely going to have an effect. I've also bought myself a Go Pro to do some filming so might let you lot have a peek if I get some decent footage.

Cheers mate. I'm satin Lymn dam blanking amongst dogs jumping in spoiling my peace and quiet. Bailiff has been round. Reckons a few have been caught since December between 18-25lb. Not too bothered if blank tbh, sat here till about 5, drive home have some tea and watch the game later.

Was in such a rush to get here I left my bag of end tackle n bits on the kitchen table along with my portable stove....: /
