I guess that I was one of those people slagging Robinho off at some points yesterday. Looking back at the highlghts I figured Robinho's finish was a good one: just under the bar and away from the goalkeeper.

But because we slag players off doesn't mean we're glory hunters, or that we need a boo boy, it's just what we see infront of us. Maybe the bias against Robinho in some people's minds affects their comments (like myself) but it doesnt mean that we're glory hunters... just the best for the team we support.

I'll admit my swing on things yesterday didn't go as planned, and their is still a regrettable thread that I posted saying I was going to go 'on loan' for a while, when I knew that I would be back on here the very next day, awaiting the 'abuse' I know I'll get. I've decided to not read the thread I made, seeing it has 6 pages already...

First, my time on BM probably sits somewhere in the middle in terms of time served. In that time there have always been impressed with the overall quality of posts and posters, and have also had to sift through the threads that are not important or hold any interest to me. There has also always been some really pathetic shit written by some.

But guess what...... thats what a forum is.

FWIW, i hope to fuck Robbi stays, i think he had a decent game yesterday and if there is any chance that that game could be the start of him finding form then so be it.

BUT

Why the fuck should i expect every Bluemoon poster to think the same way as me???? Is that not the real arrogance of posters on here??? And how fucking arrogant is it to tell someone they cant be City fans because they disagree with your point....... thats pure arrogance.

I like Cook, but he was out of order last week. But did i fuck expect everyone to agree with me, even those that love the fact it shows arrogance towards the rest of football. Wrong imo but makes for proper debate on a football forum!!!

Bluemoon is still the best forum for debate, if you want a forum for 'only positive' posts, you are without doubt in the wrong place. And just to prove the point, its the most contentious posts that get debated for the longest on here and with the greatest passions.

Difference in opinion, regardless of the subject is indeed what makes BM the best place to discuss City. But that just my opinion of course.

I'd advise you to read that thread, it's quite amusing, mostly very light hearted, and laughing at our own 'moments' is very therapeutic.

Not sure that I agree with much of this thread to be honest, there has always been a very loud minority that have made it a habit to slag players of, they did it to Ireland the season before last, can't see the point myself but it takes all sorts. As the forum has got bigger so has the minority but it is still a small minority albeit with a very loud voice!

I would (writing as a mod) like to see people think before they post, and maybe take a deep breath as it seems that some threads are not well thought out, and are just attention seeking like saying "Look at me, I have got an opinion" when the post could fit into another thread and possibly enliven the debate, posting endless threads about the same thing dilutes the debate . Just because you can start a new thread does not mean you have to!

The other major bugbear is people posting thread titles in CAPS Lock, again it just screams of attention seeking.

Having said all that, it is a forum and debate should never be stifled, perhaps if posters could become a little less strident

This site is full of sone right wankers at the minute. I was reading the match thread today ashamed at some of these so called fans we have on our forum. I mean i've never read so much shite about robinho ever. He was one of out better players, worked hard, looked creative, had a few shots which fair enough weren't his best efforts but the guy has zero confidence and yet our "fans" voiced their opinion about him. Our "fans" were so obsessed with slagging robbie off they forgot to pick up on out good points today.

Basically, fuck off. I can't put it any politer than that. Take you agenda against robinho and ram it so far up your arse you could brush your teeth with it.

You will never be happy, that's fine. You need a boo boy, that's fine. But ffs, use your brain.

Robinho did very well today all things considering yet you fail to see it.
