Bluemoon labour thread.

Cameron: "We've gone from the top of the Premier League to the bottom of the Conference in 13 wasted years. We say it's time to sack the manager"

Labour......... My arse!

I'm not voting.

The essence of democracy is to elect the person who you feel best represents you, so that your will will be heard in the corridors of power.

I currently don't feel that any candidate represents me, thus won't be throwing away a vote on somebody I don't want in power.

Agree with this . Although , unlike many disillusioned voters who won't bother going to the Polling Station I will .
But I'll be putting a large X at the bottom of the paper with the words NONE OF THE ABOVE next to it .

So do I, and I am more than willing to chip in towards the ropes.

We should set up a registered charity. How could they refuse such a noble cause?
They would probably levy a punitive rope tax, issue a rope licence, declare a world shortage of rope or insist on a Register of Licenced Rope Holders with all string, thread capable of being woven into a noose and rope having to be declared and either handed in to the nearest police station or kept in safes which need three keyholders to be present to open them, one of the keyholders being the Rt Hon Basil Hugh Montifiore Swindle-Twister-Muckgrubber who can never be found as he gives his contact details as a non existent bed sit in Outer Cashcow which he claims has been his main residence from a date 6 years before he was born.

Genius!

Labour is a joke of a party, aside from all the scandals, corruption and the fact that they have destroyed the country with all their political correctness and new laws there is also the simple reason that Gordon Brown has fucked this country up. No I don't mean in the last year or so since he became leader I mean when he was chancelor, he created false economic growth and enabled people to borrow well beyond their means leaving us in this mess right now!

I'm in favour of anyone who will change things and since the lib dems don't stand a chance i'll vote Tory!

Further to your post, Labour were the chemotherapy needed to treat 18 years of Tory cancer.

The treatment needs radicalising now, it worked in the short term, but more tory cancer is not the solution.

How exactly have they treated it?
National debt was 6 billion in 97 and now its 150 billion and rising.
They've rode on, and then taken credit for, the global bandwagon of growth and prosperity and then distanced themselves when things started to go wrong.
They've totally ignored the common people on issues such as war, immigration and Europe.
They take pride for the levels of investment in public services but are they any better? - The vast majority of theis extra spend has been wasted.
MP's expenses and the recent examples of corruption!
etc etc etc etc

I dont know if cameron will be any better but these corrupt, greedy and useless imbeciles need removing - its the only power we have!

As much as Labour have betrayed the working classes and just mercilessly attacked civil liberties, they are still the lesser of two evils, with a hung parliament being the lesser of three. It's a sad state of affairs. In the short-medium term I favour a complete overhaul of the electoral system.

NEVER have or will be 'in' Blues for Blues lads, blues for blues. Real blues are Tory.

this. I still can't believe that labour use the 'class' card. This country needs a change.

I admit that if you live in Scotland, are an Immigrant or are just a plain old lazy bastard you'd be mad not to vote for that f*ckwit Brown.

If you are anything else then your vote would be wasted on anybody other than Conservatives. FFS, if you're not sure just vote for Conservatives because their colour is Blue!

I also really don't want a hung parliament, just wouldn't work in this country imo, there would be too much in fighting, we need one party to get this country on its feet again..

This is how they will win because they have actively created and encouraged more and more people in these areas.

this, this and this. A few months back now, there was an MP who came out, claiming that the immigration policy had been carefully planned. The labour party new that immigrants would obviously vote for labour after the mass immigration. At the same time, they would brand right wingers such as the conservatives racist, if they opposed it.

You are just showing your ignorance of this country's electoral system. The benefit (under) class do not decide marginal seats and are not swing voters. Anyone using this logic simply doesn't know what they're talking about.

A vote is a vote as far as I am aware.

Then you are extremely naive. A party can win an election with less votes than another. It's actually happened in the past. The party that wins an election is the party than wins the marginals and swing voters, without exception.

And one reason why the Liberals/Lib Dems always supported Proportional Representation. The seats they gained didn't actually represent the votes they received.
