I will be at the next one by hook or by crook! I have met quite a few posters from here and they have all be great, sometimes words on a screen don't convey the personality behind the words
Gutted I couldn't make this one. I finished work on Saturday at 12 and then would have had a 3-4 hour train journey to get there, then had to get back some how!
Next time I'll book it off work and then do a TCIB and book myself the poshest hotel in Manchester so I'm not bound by the train times.
Looks like these things might become a regular thing which is good because the last one I went to was great.
Whoever is chief organiser of these meet ups, maybe we could do another one when the season is over?

Thats the thing. I had been out for a smoke and as i walked in a bloke at the bar said to me "you must be Rascal, i have seen you at games over the years" It turned out to be Blue Underpants who i wildly disagree with on here but i shook his hand, we had a beer and i introduced him to the gang and he was away. A good fella.
Posters on here really should try and make an effort to turn up, i think many would be suprised at how warm and welcoming it really is. The first time is awkward as i remember, but once your sat down and have said hello you realise that the people you are sat with are the same people you chat shit with on here all fucking week :))
And there are some suprises of course. On here me and SWPB argue over everything, yet when we meet for a beer we have a laugh and i like to think have become good mates. Even the posh fucker GDM is a decent bloke if a little loud. He is nowhere near as loud as Rach mind. She was hyper yesterday and very funny.
