Absolute no brainer for me David Silva is at the height of his mesmerising and magical powers he destroys defenders with his consummate and world class skills and is as important to Manchester City as breath is to our lungs. His form and demeanour on the field tells me he is obviously happy at the club, he is worshipped by his fans and enjoying his career with us so when his contract comes up for discussion we must pay this wonderful player whatever he wants losing him cannot be an option for our future development and success.

I went for Demichelis.

Silva has been outstanding, but Demichelis has shown proper character coming back from a rocky patch to play his best football all season. And against Hull he was probably just as key to that win as Silva was.

Silva will be a deserved winner though.
