At first I thought it was a tough one however Yaya has performed throughout the season. Nasri, Silva, Fernandinho, Negredo and MDM have all put in a series of outstanding performances however for me, Yaya has done it over a full season.
Had my nephew round for tea the other day - he is a staunch red and a real football fan in that he watches and studies the game here and abroad. Without any prompting he started telling me just how good a player David Silva is ans expressed the view that Silva is the best player (and consistently so) in the PL by a long way. I completely agree. I think we have come to take him for granted - technically gifted, quick of mind and action, so aware of what is going on around him, accurate passer, hard working. For me he is a shining light and doesn't get the credit he deserves. A brilliant player and a grounded character. For me he personifies the current City era.

Cometh the hour
Cometh the Yaya

When it mattered, he was there

But with Zabba and Vincent in defence, Ferny, El Magi and (even) Garcia in midfield, Aguero in attack, with MDM and Alex, Nasri and Dzeko (brilliant 2014) or the Beast playing their part, not forgetting Clichy or Jimmy or Stevan all backed up with Joe, how tough is that decision.

yaya for me , the best player for the premiership champions 2013/14 , but apparently not as good as the star fish diver according to the football writers , which once and for all confirms football writers know fuck all.

1. Yaya - no question bean an absolute beast (even more than the beast!)
2. Silva - my fuckin genius just love the little fella
3. Samirs had an excellent season but so has Zabba and Ferna can't pick between them
They should be the only runners.
Joe - obvious early season wobbles dealt with by manager been excellent in the run in when called upon making match winning saves
Pannti - Did well when called upon apart from a blooper against Blackburn and feeling he could have done better against Southampton and Arsenal
Kolorov - Much improved and solid when called upon still has a defensive error in him similar to Clichy but better in forward areas
Sergio - Excellent playing when fit - just not been fit enough most of the season
Komps and Dimichellis - injuries and errors throughout the season interspersed with great defensive displays
Joleon and Micah - kind of gutted we may be losing both of them but neither has played enough through form, injury or ability - that Joleon Lescott he's top of the league you know!
Milner - Mr reliable, works like a trojan and shown enough graft to warrant his place in the graft games as a starter best game at the Allianz?
Dzeko - blokes a fuckin anathema wouldn't have won the league without him in the run in but still goes missing sometimes.
Negrado - WTF happened to the bloke who played the first half of the season, was he replaced by a doppelgänger from Stalybridge Celtic?
Navas - Good impact player yet to really impose himself in the big games (CoC final apart)
Jovotic - still yet to see the best out of the lad but looks very promising lets hope his injury hoodoo is over
Natasic, Rodwell - Not been included enough to form a good opinion tbh
Boyatta - Hughes - Lopes - All still young lets hope their tasters of 1st team footy spur them on

1.Yaya
2.Silva
3.Fernandinho

Honourable mentions to Zabaleta, Kolarov, Nasri, Aguero and Dzeko.
