Bluemoon's Official Top 100 Films

Beat me to it, the original is an excellent film, McQueen v Brosnan is no contest.

The original is a classic, the remake forgettable to the point that I think I have seen it but don't really remember - if that makes any sense.

Raging Bull is one of the all time great movies but not one I'm drawn to want to watch again. I did rewatch most of Goodfellas on Friday, which I had not done in ages and that is one of many Scorsese movies that I'd happily watch again; I'm sure that will feature further up the line.

That's a pretty poor selection barring Raging Bull.
Venom was watchable and a bit of fun but that's about it.

Spoiler:

Enjoyed Billboards, but cant stand ambigious endings. Its just lazy story telling. Cant think of an ending? Let the viewers decide. Bollocks to that.

A lot of people got mad at Spike Lee for that "ambiguity" in "Do The Right Thing" and I kept saying "Have you forgotten the title of the movie?" I now realize I forgot to even include that for consideration in my top 20, which is embarrassing because it's by far his best film and a great one.

“Clockers” is my favourite Spike Lee film.
