Bluemoon's Official Top 100 TV Shows

I thought reality tv was out of bounds?

Not that i'd have included any, but maybe helps your concerns.

Sorry Coatigan! But what's the point of an incoherent rant when you've no facts to back it up!

I'll get me coat!

;-)

I'm the other way. I generally prefer US dramas and British sitcoms. Having said that, all the best British sitcoms were in the 70s/80s/early 90s, so there hasn't been anything that great in years on that score.

I did have one groundbreaking American sitcom in my 20, but I doubt it will appear now that the star's more popular show (at least I'm assuming that's the case) has already appeared.

Ah well, I prefer US drama too but then I like lots of American things. Only two of the shows I picked in my 20 were British; one other was set in England but produced by an American company.

I agree the best British sitcoms were largely from days gone by.

I should say that I think we make / have made fantastic television of all kinds in the UK.

I'm getting back on the Sopranos in preparation for its inevitable victory. Currently nearly finished the third series. I had a bit of a break after the episode University. Fucking hell, that was intense.
