Blues Away Fans - here's to you

Great night, fantastic atmosphere in our end. Was in row 15 so quite near the front but the shallow angle of the seating meant that the rows further behind looked almost horizontal!

They did have a huge TV screen above the other end that showed the action live, (but they turned it off after our second goal and it stayed off for the rest of the match.)

Loved doing the Poznań again.

Our away fans are probably the worst in the league in terms of noise created. Not really surprising considering it's a bunch of middle aged, middle class men taking a majority of our allocation.

If there was less moaning we might attract more younger fans to our games.

You were being sarcastic there weren't you???? You were just saying that because of some of the remarks made on here in the past........................... if you weren't you need to wind your flaming head in!!!!!!!!!! Our fans, both home and away are the very best, sometimes they are noisy, sometimes a little bit quiet but ALWAYS the very best, like the team they are the 'best fans in the land in all the world'!!!!!!

So there!!

Aged 52 and reasonably educated I suppose I might be deemed as middle aged and middle class.

However, I’ve had a Season Ticket since 1979, and that includes 87-88 when I was only 23, and City were averaging less than 20,000. I also missed only two away game that season.

I was 34 when we lost at York, and 42 during the 2006-07 campaign when our crowds were dwindling alarmingly.

Are you advocating a football version of Logan’s Run?

The volume on my telly must have been faulty?

Fantastic turn out but hardly saw or heard a peep out of our fans throughout the entire game, barring a snapshot of the revived Poznan, which was great to see back.

Must have been cos on mine there were loads of songs especially 2nd half. My lad went and said it was good but he is usually bladdered by the time he gets in so Christ knows what he was like Friday after a 6 hr journey.

Ah poor you ... couldn't you get a ticket for the Rags away? Well I apologise for following City since 1968 and having more of those lovely loyalty points than you ... Remind me to hand a few back in so you can come next time ;) Ps ... I don't suppose you bothered with that midweek League cup trip to Swansea earlier in the season eh?! ;)
