Or w
Or we could all say nowt and let's just let the msm think we had 9k there (a bit like the other myths about our wonderful club, like the rubbish about empty seats etc ;) )
Ps - I was there and thought our support was superb , particularly for the first Friday evening in January when people are often skint and struggle with time off work . Well done to all us blues there last night !!

Top trip but getting back to the travelodge was a nightmare, somehow ended up at Stratford station and the opposite side.Took me 40 mins instead of the 15 min stroll pre match.
Watched a fan try to climb over a fence for a shortcut and fall to the ground.
Looked a sore one.

You were all fantastic & brilliant.

Taking almost 5k to a Friday night cup game in London is pretty good, especially looking at some of the attendances today. Kudos to those who went. Our home support isn't the best these days, but our away support is still good. Seen plenty of comments on social media from West Ham fans praising our support last night.

Superb turn out and really enjoyed it...to the blues who struggled to get out, i'd recommend going to Hackney Wick next time, instead of doing a left ou tof the ground you turn right, great boozer selling good craft ales on the canal half way there for a pit stop.

fantastic night and great turnout, 5k on a friday night with limited transport home, proud to be blue. and on the plus side went to braintree and my local team chester won 2-1 after being 1 down, a great weekend for me

Are you referring to the Tank Bar?

Really enjoyed it in there. Expensive but the beer was very good and it was a friendly gaff (NB we didn't wear colours).

It was a great turnout for sure and a great turnout from the West Ham fans too. The excellent ticket prices helped but fans still had to organise time off work. The novelty of it being a new ground for us helped boost the numbers attending too I think - I loved Upton Park but if the game had been played there I probably wouldn't have gone unless it was on a Saturday.

Atmosphere-wise, I reckon that was the best at an away game I've been at this season and that includes both derbies amongst others. I think the acoustics inside the ground helped and songs travelled easily across the away end but also there was always someone on hand to help start up the chants. Credit to the hardcore of West Ham fans who were still singing at the end by the way.

The biggest negative about that ground as others have mentioned and that is getting to and from it from Stratford. You were literally walking round in circles and it was a shambles - what should be a 10 minute walk turned into half an hour and I dread to think how those booked on the 11pm train home got on. It wasn't just getting to and from the ground that was an issue though - we were staying in the Premier Inn at the Westfield shopping centre. We went out on the lash in the pubs around Liverpool St afterwards until the early hours and had an absolute nightmare trying to get back to the hotel we got back to Stratford station. We'd been assured that the ground level of the shopping centre was open 24 hours which would've meant a simple 5 minute walk from the station. Turns out that was bollocks and it was closed so we had to go right round the houses to get to it and it took absolutely ages.
