Blues in Fallowfield ?

There are established branches in Rusholme, Brooks Bar and Didsbury, all within a couple of miles of Fallowfield. It may be that a good few people in your catchment area are already in these branches. Good luck if you decide to go for it though.

Good point, but would love to have something here.. walking distance. Few people already showed interest ... worth a try!

I lived in Fallowfield for a time in the early 70's. Had some good nights in the Friendship, also the White Lion in Didsbury was a decent boozer too. When we went into town, my favourite place was The Crown just past the railway bridge on way to Strangeways, Great Ducie Street it was iirc


correction the White Lion is in Withington, I got mixed up with the Red Lion in Didsbury, probably spent too much time in both places :)

Once filmed on a housing estate , just off Hyde Road in West Gorton , fictionally named the 'Chatsworth Estate' ........ but now based in Roundthorn industrial area of Wythenshawe , and filmed on a purpose built set of the original estate.

It's now in it's final series.
