I went with a mate that night paid on the gate. Ended up near the bottom right corner of the Stretford end towards the end of the game where the blue numbers had started to swell. When we got the pen and scored we both ran down and joined in the open celebrations. Felt like a king for a few minutes till some rag threw a pie at me, exploded all over the back of my head it was a sureal evening that.

Its current landlord is a huge blue , think hes been there 20 years. My memory of how long between him and tommy is goneA) 85 I think. Blue landlord moved out. Rag landlord moved in.

Only time I've been in the raggy part was the Stretford Paddock at the end of '76, the game was played after they'd lost to Southampton. I'd got my ticket after that defeat.
The original idea was that as we'd won the LC both trophies were going to be paraded around the pitch....that didn't happen ;)

like someone said earlier, it always seemed easier to get tickets in their end than ours and i probably attended 3 or 4 OT derbies and sat in K Stand

I was up in the seats in the corner of the main stand with my dad, the utd fans in the exec boxes got dogs abuse from us but what a great performance from the lads that night, city fans everywhere as well.
I've been in their end loads of times and never had any trouble from the cunts including the 3-4 game sat just along from Gary Owen, I was up for all 3 goals, Gary wasn't!
