Absolutely cringeworthy. It goes against so much of what city is about as far as I'm concerned. It's such a rag sort of thing to do.

Jesus wept some of you need to get a sense of humour FFS!!!
It's not "cringworthy" and it's fuck all like anything the rags would do.
Life's hard enough lads, try to lighten up and use some of that humour that's associated with our club and stop trying to be so fucking über cool....Trying to be über cool is SO, well cringeworthy!!
Oh and one last thing City is a business, it needs the pounds to buy the players and pay them the wages week in week out.
....Perhaps I will write to City and ask them to add one more thing to that guide....BECOME A MOANING GIT!!!!
