Re: Bluemoon Golf Competition 2013
Right another week gone, the first month is out of the way already and we've seen some fantastic golf and some great tournaments already, none more so than the majestic performance by Big Phil at the Scottsdale last week. Despite that, a lot of you struggled this week with many going backwards as the competitive PGA Tour meant some missed cuts deductions came into force:

You may be wondering what the dotted line is for, well that's because entries for the competition are now closed so we count down to the start of the BM Golf Cup. Now to cut it down to 32 teams for the Masters we need to get rid of 6 teams unfortunately so we will have a 12 team preliminary knockout round(unseeded draw) on the week of March 7-10 which is the WGC Cadillac Championship at the TPC Blue Monster. The bottom 12 teams in the league at the conclusion of the week of Feb 20-24, which is the WGC Accenture Match Play week will take part in the Preliminary Round. The 6 victors will head on into the First Round Proper which is the week of Augusta.
Now onto this week, the European Tour takes a lull as it heads to South Africa(in fact bar the WGC's the European Tour is in a lull for pretty much the next 2 months, Eurozone crisis has bitten hard) for 2 weeks, firstly to Johannesburg for the non-descript Joburg Open, but the PGA Tour does make up for that as it heads to Pebble Beach as the in-form Phil Mickelson defends his Pebble Beach Pro-Am title. So the categories are:
PGA Tour-AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am-Category D.
European Tour-Joburg Open-Category F.
Enjoy Pebble Beach.
