I do feel a certain sympathy for Marwood. I understand he faces a difficult task in offloading certain players but at the end of the day that is his job and if he can't do it should he be replaced ? Would the guy replacing him be able to do any better under the circumstances ?

Of course Mancini wants to strengthen and it's certainly easier to do so when Champions. His management skills may be tested but I'm sure he's up to the task.

I still reckon we'll sign one or two. The usual last day poker that clubs seem to play these days I find utterly ridiculous but when was football business ever sensible ?

Marwood doesn´t offload players, he´s involved with getting them to City. Williams is the offloading guy I think..Not the easiest job in the world I guess.
