bob out mart in?

Check out all the sycophants

"Oh, you really are a clever boy, what a brilliant wind up, can I call you by your first name, are we mates?"

This thread is bollocks.

Not that there aren't many other threads where bollocks opinions are expressed. Probably a few started by myself too.

However, for those who are so 'matey' when faced by such a thread let me point a few things out.

1. If this thread had been started by anyone else the same people throwing the wink signs into their posts would have been extremely insulting and dismissive of it.

2. The thread starter was extremely insulting to anyone who dared to suggest that the previous manager was not up to the job (Not a real City fan, etc) and called them all the names under the sun for undermining the manager (not that it bother me, but it's an interesting comparison).

3. When does being a jolly, jolly, ever so funny, pinch of salt, unoffensive, all round family entertaining 'WUM' become something different? I would suggest that it is when criticism of the manager is based on very little and when threads against him are started over and over again (especially when they are started by someone who was so offended by his appointment/dismissal of the previous bloke).

4. Isn't it much more diginified to actually put forward a rational argument for or against a manager rather than to constantly start threads against him and then fill it full of matey "I'm the world's number one wind up merchant" references as a cop out because even you realise that it is totally hypocritical, given your previous stance.

Ooooooooooooohhhh, ave I been 'fished' or 'WUMed'. I couldn't care less. And I don't believe that this is the intention of this sort of thread anyway. I think it is just a snide hangover of someone who is gutted that they lost face over their opinion on Hughes (of course, that is totally irrational - losing face on the internet - most wouldn't care less as they don't seek an internet celebrity reputation - but it seems to be the case here) and who has since been on a constant theme, trying to belittle the current manager.

Again, I don't care if people have constructive criticism of the manager. I had enough of Hughes and loads may have/did disagree. But the regular anti Mancini threads from this poster which haven't even got the bollocks to shed their "Look at me, aren't I a jolly WUM" cloak, are well out of order imo.

As are the sycophant who react to them in a totally different manner to similar threads from other posters.

Not bothered if I have been 'WUMed' or not. Just find it all very sad and stinking a little bit of people who want to be part of an internet hierarchy.

JMA, Climb out of your own arse. We won 6-1, Spuds lost, Shite lost...I'm in a good mood. I concluded that De Niro's post had to be a wind up...if it wasn't, then he's a deluded idiot. Let it go.

i think you need to read his post properly, if this was a one off from de niro on this subject then it would be seen as a funny wind up, if however someone does it over and over chances are there is a reason behind it that the OP doesnt have the courage to come and admit he is guuted that hughes left and doesnt rate mancini
