DockerIf he was turning, and his studs lock in the turf? Though that could more likely lead to ligament damage, I'd have thought?
"Let me through, I'm a doctor".
HahaOh no! Not the leg bone.
I'm assuming that if he needed surgery, he'll have had it by now, tomorrow at the latest.
Yeah; that has been mentioned earlier on.I broke my ankle some years ago. Prepped for surgery (plate and pins) every morning for five days on the bounce, only for surgeon to come in and declare 'Still too swollen"
Nope.Nope. Break is when the bone snaps apart, fractures are when the bone stays intact but a bit of it splits. A break is like ripping a sheet of paper in two, a fracture is like tearing a tiny hole but leaving the rest of the sheet in tact.
Yep.Any medical professionals here? Aren't a fracture and break. EXACTLY the same thing
To clear up some confusion over the break vs fracture talk on this thread:
They're the same thing.
If your femur is in half, it's fractured.
If you have a non-displaced tiny hairline crack, it's fractured.
If your bone is in 10 pieces, it's fractured.
So that term tells us nothing as to severity of the injury.
Very unlucky for the guy as he was looking great in pre-season.
