Bobby,don't bin Nigel please.

Starting to wonder if Nige is on his way out. The somewhat mysterious injury, the stalled contract talks, new relationship with Kia, and now the rumours about Van Bommel....hmmm. Paranoid maybe, but it sure feels like somethings up...

Possibly for the first time in living memory,we have a world class squad now, rather than just a very good starting eleven.
This means that we can rest and rotate players, dependant on the opposition, and that players are competing to wear the shirt once more.
And,given that we are playing great football even without NDJ,it proves that some slimy twat of an agent can no longer hold us to ransom to screw a ludicrous wage rise for his 'client',like that so-called lifelong manure fan knobjockey did at $old Trafford for his scouse cash cow.

I love NDJ but like most of the squad, he'll have to be patient, and when he gets his chance to come back in, take it by performing brilliantly. Milner was very unlucky to be the 1 to make way for Nasri but someone had to go out. After Saturday, could you say that Barry or Yaya should be dropped to make way for NDJ? Thought not.
Rotation and injuries will give him his opportunity and he'll be welcomed back with open arms. I just hope he'll be patient because I wouldn't want to lose him.

Nobody gets binned anymore , in our team , it is simply rotation . Nige will get a fair share of games this year , just like every other midfielder. Injuries and suspensions will pop up and people like Nige , or Barry or Yaya or even Milner will step into the team and perform well because they're all quality midfield players .

Highly doubt it mate, the injury was evidently picked up against Swansea, theres not been a single rumour about him leaving, and with only 1 day in the window left theres no chance.

Theres been a lot of tripe in the media about Kompany and Nije not being happy about other players wages, but Kompany dismissed this the other day in an article in the Guardian, De Jong is a great player and is extremely important this season.

Tactically in certain games, he is essential.

Some people on here are getting really carried away with one performance

NDJ is our most consistent player and last season he was our most important player.

I repeat, we aren't gonna win every game by 4 goals and Dzeko won't score every time he shoots. Some days things just won't go our way and it's those days when we'll be so glad NDJ's in the team.

This.

People just need to remember what he can bring to us, especially in big games.
For me he's the player I enjoy watching the most.

The tackle at 4.55 is just awesome.

ndj is the best defensive midfielder in the world , but i believe any player that has an interest with kia joorbrachian should be either told to terminate his deal with the agent and his company msi, or leave the club. This agent has been responsible for cooks departure , onuha's indifference towards the club , and now ndj has been out for the best part of 3 months with a "bruised foot" whilst contract negotiations are ongoing , and the tevez situation is being orchestrated by this low life. Nigel is a brilliant player but not irreplaceable , get rid of tevez, onuha and ndj and wash our hands of kia the slimeball. We can then concentrate on the important thing , the football.

If we want to be the best in Europe we need an enforcer who can also chip in with some goals. NDJ couldn't score with a penalty when the keeper is away for his tea!
