We all know how secretive the likes of FIFA and UEFA are. You could probably get into GCHQ easier then getting into FIFA HQ. I'm sure the PiGMOL are similar. Their legal team must have their NDA's water tight.
Whatever has gone on here you won't hear it from Madley, unless he somehow grows a pair.
Of course, there is another possibility. He could have been "asked*" to influence the outcome of a game, but royally f**ked up, and ended up costing someone (Eastern European/Far East betting syndicate) a lot of money. If this is the case, he'll probably have a lot more than an NDA to worry about.

Pretty sure his contract would have had terms relating to bringing the fa/prem into disrepute...and he would be paid,as an elite ref to observe this so if he was making fun of disabled people(and i dont think this is why he left) id say this would def come within the realms of gross misconduct,and given the attempts made by the prem league to support minority groups...inc disabled fans and referees...id say thats not just a 'dodgy joke' ...that goes against everything the prem stand for and undermines a lot of hard work.
To breach a term as outlined above,would,imo be enforceable and is a world apart from 'if one tells u to stand on your head'

Yes, but that's the point. Wanting shot of him for doing it is not the same as "gross misconduct". Hoddle wasn't sacked either, there was a "mutual agreement". It's how it works when you want to get rid of someone but can't legally make firing them stick.

think if I'm correct gave that last min dodgy pen in f.a.cup against Leicester last seasonI'm amazed .. I remember him doing us at home to Stoke & West Ham but I'm truly amazed at that record.
**Disclaimer I can't be arsed googling as I'm about to go to bed but it's possible that neither of the above games had him in charge.
