A great loss to Football, he battled this dreadful illness for many years a true and complete football icon

I hope there is a fitting tribute to him at all games soon

We all knew it wouldn't be long, and as anyone who saw the saw that game the other day can testify, he didn't look long for this earth. But it's still a bloody tragedy.

Never met the man, but oddly I feel as if I've lost a member of my family.

A great man and a true gent.
He moulded a small town Ipswich side of the late 70`s into formidable championship
contenders who went on to become household names and full internationals.
Respected through out world football.
