Wow, just wow...

Are you suggesting he wasn't a very well paid employee at the club? Or are you suggesting that he didn't sometimes do a good job and sometmes didn't? What is making you so absolutely staggered?

I think he is suggesting some of your gratitude is misplaced aka Mancini deserves more credit of you regardless of his pay etc etc.

It's easy to become a little notorious on BM Just by being a dick - DD and BS have purposely achieved legendary status in this regard. Now some of the also rans like Lancet want their two minutes of fame - hence the inflamatory posts

Well I don't think Mancini came to us for the love of the club. In fact he was one of the best paid managers in the world.

No of course he didn't, who does? he's Italian he probably supports Sampdoria or Lazio or where ever he played or grew up, but I'm sure when he left the club there was some love!

He could have also went to any number of other clubs and got handsomely paid and I'm sure he will again, your post is just nonsense.

Even I'll say he deserves our thanks for the incredible memories he brought us. But it's clear that his impact was more and more negative and he wasn't getting the best out of what he had. Baconface got time back in the late 1980's because they were convinced they had the right man. Mancini got the heave-ho only once our owners were wholly convinced he wasn't the right man.

Mancini showing he has more class in his little finger than our entire board and many posters on here. Anyone who is trying to spin this in a negative way to once again spew more hate on Mancini needs to have long hard look at themselves because you are ungrateful twats.

I'm not particularly grateful to Mancini. He was a very well paid employee at the club who sometimes did a good job and sometimes didn't. The only person at the club that I am genuinely grateful to is the owner. I'm grateful that he chose City and I'm grateful that he continues to plough hundreds of millions into the club when the chances are that he will never make a penny of it back. I make no apology for that and if it makes me a twat then so be it. I'm not suggesting that decisions at the club can't ever be questioned but maybe he thinks that people whinging about the manager being sacked are ungrateful twats. Who knows?

When you state......

"when the chances are that he will never make a penny of it back."

You are way off the mark, they'll make their money back and more, but over the medium to long term. They've got deep pockets and a plan, this isn't a hobby for them and they're not doing it for the love of football.
You think they'll make more than their money back? I'm not remotely convinced. But yes, I apologise, I exaggerated, he will get some of it back. How much remains to be seen. The point remains he has ploughed incredible amounts into this club and it is him who had made all this possible. Mancini on the other hand was getting paid a fortune to do a job. Which is fine, no problem with that, I'm just not particularly grateful for him for doing a job.

Attacks on the club, its employees, the board and with that, our owner are so fucking ridiculous its untrue.

Some on here to to give their heads a wobble.

I haven't seen any posts attacking the owner, the constant stream of tittle tattle about Mancini which seems to be emanating from the club is the only thing that is doing damage to mcfc, the people letting this happen are the ones who need to give their heads a 'wobble'

I am not trying to achieve any status and I'm not being deliberately inflammatory. I'm merely voicing my opinion which I thought was the point of the board. FWIW my post wasn't nearly as inflammatory as that edited version looks imo. Seriously, I just don't feel particularly grateful to Mancini but I do feel incredibly grateful to the owner. Am I supposed to lie or not post just because it isn't an opinion that is line with the majority?

This thread is really showing up the Outers as contemptible miserable human beings who cannot even let Mancini get a farewell from most of the fanbase who are appreciating what he did at this club, and what he's done in the MEN, without the fucking footnote. We get it, you're not bothered, you've shared your views on many threads without hijacking every single fucking one with your petty diatribes.
