Bobbys ad in today's MEN

To be honest I find this Mancini ad a little bit creepy. For me he was always a very aloof and cold type of person and this sudden display of warmth makes me feel uneasy. If it is a dig at City......only he knows that but, unfortunately, this is getting a lot of attention around the world which is a shame and not good for City.

All that aside I wish him all the best for his future career.

It's great move from Mancini's camp, have to give them that, fantastic pr stuff for their man and definitely a bit of dig at club too. Some people obviously think it's absolutely genius thanks to fans without any backhand thoughts but it's up to them if they want to believe it, I can't help there.

But it's very creative way to do it so I have to respect that part.

The next manager to come in will have short comings, and will get sacked, resign, or come to the end of his contract in possible 2 or 3 years time. Will I be proven right?
he,l have to finish higher than second and win a cup otherwise whats the point.all im hearing is pellagrini will work better and get more out of the players, well thats all well and good but if he say finishes 3rd or 4th and doesnt win a trophy which is likely then what?he,l have to be sacked

My point was the poster was claiming DD told us so. For three years he banged on about it and was finally proven right
people agreeing with dd jesus wept.if you wait 3 years for a manager to be sacked then say i told you so.its very sad, deep down dd probably knew mancini proved him wrong and couldnt wait for him to be sacked.to win the prem and fa cup and another cup final also winning 1-6 at the swamp and countless other great victories all within 3 years anyone who sais they wouldnt of took that are lying through their teeth.rant over

I cannot understand why some people acting like "there is something in this ad."
Mancini always loved and respected City fans, that is for sure

A lovely gesture from Mr Mancini.

I thought he really "got" City from the first moments. He has brought us success and taken the Banner down and leaves us with wonderful memories and a great collection of players.

Pellegrini may or may not turn out to be an improvement. But as you say Mancini seemed in tune with City and the fans extremely quickly. Don't think Manuel will be quite the same somehow.

Same at Samp where he had the badge tattoed on his leg

I know DD and a couple of other anti Mancini posters have been around for a while and that puzzles me.Like him or for some reason hate him [ the amount of spite towards the man doesn't make hate too strong a word], if you are long suffering Blue i just cannot see how you could not be happy with what he has done for our club in his short time here.

Maybe it was time to move on,time will tell, but to not acknowledge what this man did for our club i find sad and to not look back with fondness even sadder. It's a funny old world.
