How does someone saying "Brilliant Bobby, bloody Brilliant" sound like a "rag"? If that is how low you have stooped, someone who is forever trying to convey an image of intelligence, the de facto head of the grammar police indeed, and yet you call someone a rag who is most clearly not a rag - that is low, that is unnecessary (sorry pb if the spelling is wrong) and that is downright thick. Moderators on here proclaiming Blues as being rags is downright wrong

A big thank you to you Roberto.You finally made it easier for me to walk the streets of Salford and in the pubs where its full of plastics ridiculing City for so many years.For so long I had no comeback against the rags except to say 'Do you ever go' as trophy after trophy was won.You may have had faults with lack of communication with players etc,but I will always remember that day v QPR and Stoke forever.Good luck Roberto and love to see you at Etihad again in the Champions League.

Hahahaha. The absolute height of ego and vanity. A picture of himself, stood behind the three trophies he won. I wish I wasn't so cynical as to wonder whether it isn't just one more 'fuck you' to the club.

Personally,i would have had far more respect for the man if his 'thankyou' was a simple statement rather than the egotistical and narcissitic full page spread of himself stood behind 3 trophies,1 of which is a joke 'competition'.

Its ironic that the characteristics that this 'farewell' article exposes are probably the very ones that lost him his job.Saying that maybe it is a very fitting tribute to the self styled Mancini show.

I wish him well but i'm made up he's now elsewhere.

Not so long ago winning the Thomas cook trophy was as close as we got to silverware, so either you have a very short memory or your ridicule of the charity shield shows just how far we've come under Mancini

Without him bankrolling the club there would be no Mancini to of fired in the first place, no Premier League football let alone title, no Fa Cups, no league cup semi finals, no world class players, no new training ground, no planned stadium expansion, no hope, maybe a very real reality is no Manchester City whatsoever if you believe how heavily indebted Thaksin had made us
He is the reason we are now, Mancini was a part of that.

Its not about being scared to criticise him its about understanding what he has done for us and being thankful and understanding that in the grand scheme of things Mancini is a part of our history but that history would be very different if it wasn't for Sheikh Mansour

Most sensible post on this thread in my opinion. I don't think anyone hates Mancini but it is vitally important that we still show support to the owner.

If anyone needs my credentials as life long blue then that is not a problem.
However, I won't hold my breath for a retraction of apology from PB and TBH I don't need one. My first game was in '68 and I have never stopped supporting them since. In comparison PB is a lightweight (but a very self important one!)
If he bans me then it will only confirm it.
