Boj Today

I'd think about dropping Robbie for away games, sticking Ireland on the left and having Nige and Vinnie in centre mid with Bellamy and Boj up front

Well, maybe. At least while his confidence is shot.

He needs a goal and quick and IMO Elano did the right thing in letting his team-mate take it.

at 0-0? are you sure?

if we were 2-0 or more up, maybe. but i'd like to see our regular pen taker at 0-0.

Well it was a £33m attacker taking the penalty. Not like at 16-year old youth player.

Yea I agree. Robbie never looked like scoring the pen

Gotta admire the Boj for getting back. All credit to him. Some very good touches and will only get better.

In respect of the penalty, nobody knows the reasons for Rob taking it, Elano may have said he didnt fancy it that once.

My thoughts exactly lets see at Arsenal this team I'm sure the ball to Boj and Bellars running in behind with SWP and Ireland either side could really work!!

Also just thinking what the bench would be given everyones fit something like:-
Hart
Robinho
Elano
Petrov/Etuhu
Benjani/Evans/Caicado
Johnson/Gelson
Berti/Garrido

Crikey!!! Certainly options there...

agreed shady, he was great today, hes still not 100% fit yet so i dont think we are seeing the real boj. he could be the answers to our problems

Don't you just love it the guys just back from a prelonged injury period and already he's the answer to all our prayers. Just goes to show how poor we are in that department

Indeed....look at our forwards:

Boj (Sven)
Bellamy (Hughes)
Caceido (Sven)
Benjani (Sven)
Sturridge
Evans

Within that context, the number of goals we've scored this season is pretty amazing. I'd love to see a stat on guilt edge chances missed this season. I imagine we'd be up there with someone like Arsenal (who I also think lack something up front)...

I was thinking while watching the match yesterday that Bellamy and Boj compliment each other perfectly, and are both perfectly suited to the premiership. I wonder if there will be an opportunity to see them play together at some point...knowing Hughes, I doubt it...
