BOJINOV DROPPED NEEDLESSLY FROM UEFA SQUAD

Re: BOJINOV DROPPED NEEDLESSLY FOR JO FROM UEFA SQUAD

What a silly thread ......So where now critisizing the injured players rehab dates,I trust the professionals who work in this area much more than any Mr know on here i have to say,its quite obvious we all want our strongest squad out.

You can only change three players, I think.

I believe this is correct thus nullifying the rest of the thread

City fans in over hyping an injured player who has hardly played shock!

why not put him on list B?, forward with hughes

Isn't list 'B' home grown players under a certain age?

Boj will not be fit enough and Jo wasn't likely to go until Everton come in. To me it's not crazy.
The UEFA List being before the deadline is crazy

But we could have dropped Jo from the squad instead of Bojinov.

Bojinov may be an injury risk, but Jo isn't even an option.

Seems a bit of a cockup, although maybe we gambled on leaving Jo in the squad in case the loan deal didn't go through.

Are we not allowed to question a management decision any more?

Would have been fun during the Alan Ball days.

I'll be honest, i'm really struggling to get worked up about this, Bojinov has assumed some sort of legendary status after a couple of good pre-season games, 20 mins vs West Ham and a youtube video. If Samaras had gotten injured after his first couple of weeks the same situation could have applied.

He's injured, he probably won't get anywhere near full fitness soon enough to play an important UEFA cup tie, and no one knows whether he's actually going to be any good. Fair does some posters watched him when he was in Italy, but he's barely played since then, no-one knows if he's even going to recover fully.

I guess having him in the squad ahead of a player on loan would make sense, on the off chance, but it hardly warrants the dramatic thread title and the 'i'm raging about this' posts.

This contribution (supported by billsbigbanana and salford blue among others) is v poor. Your apparent delight in your prediction that Bojinov will not play again this season allied to your view that he's overrated anyway is both baffling and completely misses the point.

HE COULD HAVE BEEN IN THE UEFA SQUAD & AVAILABLE TO PLAY IF FIT INSTEAD OF THE TOTALLY UNNECESSARY RICHARD MARTIN - GOT IT?

No but people who know about football outside of England know Bojinov is a top player.
