"I don't think he is anywhere near ready to play PL football, he has talent, but it's very raw."

"A few step overs and a bit of pace is all he's shown so far, not enough end product to convince me he is the second coming."

"anyone else think that from the little we've seen of him he's just a poor mans Lee Chung Yong?"

It actually amazes me on how thick these people really are, they got a superstar in the making here (and a modest one at that, its not like he's got an ego or anything) and they barely play him, give him 20minutes every 2 or 3 games to make an impression then slag him off!!

Jesus I'd rather take him back and play him in the reserves than to have him wasted there...

Coyle is being a right tosser.

Why make the effort to get him on loan if he isn't going to play him? He could have surely gone somewhere else on loan where he would have got more playing time.

Maybe they're seeing something we weren't able too through our blue tinted glasses? It certainly wouldn't be the first time for any of us.

start him, let him get some game time, if he doesn't over do it and try to hard like he does sometimes, then they'll see the real Wiess,

sometimes he's just got to stop thinking he's robinho, does too much, if he did less and played his more natural game he would be better.

We sent him there because he wasn't good enough yet to get into our team. If he's got there and he isn't good enough yet to get into their team then that reinforces the fact he's not good enough for ours. Hopefully given time he might be, but 'superstars' have usually made more of an impact before they're 20. The first to comments above are the exact things I was saying about him when people were trying to say he was better than SWP/Petrov/Robinho based on the odd dribble in the last minute of a game. It's all part of the build 'em up knock 'em down mentality we seem to have here: eeryones a superstar til they get into the team, then they have a bad game and they're shit and should fuck off. Young Vlad certainly has skill, but he's weak atm and certainly isn't ready for Prem week in week out, only time will tell if he ever will be. I was hoping Bolton would bite the bullet and play him out of neccesity and he would either sink or swim, but I guess the fact they'e not been only serves to add weight to the doubts.

this this this this ... ffs, go watch him in the reserves ... seriously rather than spouting rubbish about how great he is here, go and watch him play 90 minutes. He isnt that great at all. very average most of the time. David Ball is a better prospect than him

He needs top flight games to develop his game, and prepare for the World Cup.

He's not had much of a chance at a club under pressure to produce instant results
