Bolton fans on Wiess.

I guess we'll see how good he is playing for an average team who are going to scrap every other game like their lives depended on it. Good luck to him, worried a bit by the initial response from the fans.

Maybe they're seeing something we weren't able too through our blue tinted glasses? It certainly wouldn't be the first time for any of us.

agreed, always thought he falls just short of the prem standard, he does have time on his side so lets see.

He's not taken his chance so far when Bolton have brought him on & has been shite tbf. He may improve with a few more games but Bolton took him there to help them, not to help him, so they need an instant impact from him if he's going to get more time on the pitch.

I agree with yon mon here, i've seen him come on as sub and really not produce anything. His style of play isn't the same as ours but he's not the sort of winger that would suit there game i would have thought. Wiltshire's slotted in ok, even he's not played every game though.

quite obvious yet another average academy product, as with every other one, notably Ireland and Richards and Onuha and Johnson.

Only good thing about the academy is it should be giving Mancs a chance to develop into Pro footballers, and maybe just maybe once every Blue Moon we discover a Paul Lake.

Other thing is Weiss is not a Manc, not even English. Ireland .... well what is he? Comic Strip superhero????, Richards ...... not a Manc.

Johnson could have made it .................. but will settle for him twating any rag who starts singing in Town, did Jim Cassells teach him this??

It actually amazes me on how thick these people really are, they got a superstar in the making here (and a modest one at that, its not like he's got an ego or anything) and they barely play him, give him 20minutes every 2 or 3 games to make an impression then slag him off!!

Jesus I'd rather take him back and play him in the reserves than to have him wasted there...
Yep, no City fan would even contemplate doing something as shortsighted as that. EVER.

Coyle is being a right tosser.

Why make the effort to get him on loan if he isn't going to play him? He could have surely gone somewhere else on loan where he would have got more playing time.
Yeah, how dare those shitty little smaller clubs not play someone who's clearly not yet up to the required standard. Don't they know their only purpose is to help out the true giants of the game like Manchester City?

Honestly, have you heard yourselves? It's embarrassing.

So every academy player we bring through should be / needs to be a Manc?

Have a word with yourself you prick. It's small minded people like you that hold this club back.

Bolton are in a relegation fight and they're gonna be reluctant to play a flimsy, raw young kid especially when they've already got Chung Yong Lee who is a far superior player right now

LOL at those on here who kept touting Weiss as being better than Petrov and/or Sweep, laughable
