Was it old age that made Eddie want to sell? I mean, without a decent bidder could he have potentially passed it on to some arms-length organisation, but continued to fund the club, or were his funds running out? Seems a shame to sell to potentially empty pockets, esp when he’d invested so much himself over the years...
Do you reckon Saturday’s game will go ahead, bearing in mind no one has been paid?

So annoying that all these journalists are suddenly so incensed about an owner who supports his club, and are screaming at the authorities to take firm action against us. Yet they have little to say about the plight of clubs like Bolton, Coventry, Blackpool, etc.
