Bony (Season long loan at Stoke - Official)

I think most reasoned fans would accept that Bony is a decent player who simply hasn't fitted in with our style of play and will, no doubt be leaving for pastures new in due course. I also think we owe the guy some credit as if the league is as tight as it might be come May, then goal difference may be the difference, and Wilf has contributed to that.

For those who have really laid into him with disgust, I wonder how you might feel if indeed Wilfs goals allow Vinnie to lift the PL in May.
It has got fucking ridiculous in here

People wanting him gone so bad they have lost sight of what the team need in 4 comps
The disgust at one of our own never sits right with me,we have some twats as fans

Edit,i wasn't having a go at your post lol

I agree Kaz, doesn't sit well with me either. As I said, it could come down to his goals making the difference this year yet we get knobs on here calling him all kinds of names. I get a player might not fit our team, but that doesn't make him dog turd, useless etc.

You want to leave us with one senior injury prone striker and a 19yr old for 4 competitions?

This. It's one thing if you want Kelechi to be #2, but to hope that Bony moves on without bringing in another striker would be madness at this point. And don't tell me Sterling can play striker! Lescott could also play left back.....

With a good second half of the season we will have probably 33 games and that would include getting to the finals of both cups and getting knocked out at the semi final argue of the champions league. plus Kun always has a good run in, he already has 10 goals and I see him breaking his own record this season, Kelechi will push for 15 and sterling and De Bruyne 20 each. That would be 45-50 goals across 33 games just from 4 players.

We can absolutely cope though without Bony. We coped without a receognised striker for a good period last season and done fine. It's hardly likely Bony is going to be the key difference in the League or in Europe.
