Agreed, could'nt care if he cost £53m....if he was any good! If a plumber charged you £5k plus say 20% vat for a bathroom, being 6k total, but bought a shower for £1k plus 20% vat as part of the job, then of the £1,000 VAT he collected from you, he'd only give £800 to HMRC, as he had handed over £200 vat on the shower already, HMRC still gets a Grand in total. Bony is the shower in that analogy... City collect vat from fans on tickets, but deduct the Bony vat before handing over to HMRC. In some ways it's even worse....the vat is still a cost, but we pay it..not the club!
 
Lets all just hope and prey that some mug like West Ham comes up with £20million to take him off our hands.

Very true Karen he's one of them big fish in a small pond that ended up being not up to it when he joined the big pond. Rest assured he won't be pulling a City shirt on again once Pep checks in.

Haha i'm sure a few disgruntled fans would raise an issue with that. Thanks for clearing it up.

It's a shame it's not worked for Bony yet, had high hopes for him

Thing is he'd do well for a counter attacking side. Same applies to Sterling too. If only Pellers varied the tactics a bit...
Ah well I'll got more than enough of that for a life time over the next 3 seasons.
 
Transfer accounting

Manure: basic fee

City: basic fee plus add-ons plus hypothetical third party payments plus VAT plus wages plus salary bonuses plus 5-10 million randomly added on.
 
Whilst Bony has been awful since he joined.... 25 mil for the 25 year old (at the time) Premiership leading scorer is hardly horrific. We'll get most of that back in the summer. Also it doesn't say there's a sell on, unless I'm missing something. Press made that bit up?

I just can't see your blind faith he just isn't up to it at this level. Why would you change our game to suit a players who has been crap since he arrived it just makes no sense.

Don't know who you're confusing me with but I'm no Bony fan boy. He doesn't suit our style of play at all.
 
Shocking player, shocking decision by manager to play him, can't hold the ball up, can't run, can't head and players clearly don't want to pass to him because he's going to lose possession. Bye bye Bony. Pellegrini will play him Tuesday though, downright arrogance and stubbornness from the so called Charming Man. I'm so looking forward to both disappearing. Thank you and goodbye.
