Bony's Transfer

Everton boss Roberto Martinez eyeing triple summer raid for Man City flops
EVERTON are eyeing three targets at Manchester City – Wilfried Bony, Jesus Navas and Eliaquim Mangala.
You read it here first - who are they giving us in exchange? Lukaka, Stones, etc., etc.

Well I'd hate to go down the route of talking common sense on here so I'll leave you and your bollocks to it.
Your not talking common sense though are you! He scored 50 goals for city and lots of them very important goals. There is a difference in scoring a "contribution goal" when you are hammering a side let's say 1-6, and scoring equalising goals against QPR on the last day of the season or away at Notts county in our winning FA cup run. Surely you don't need this spelling out for you. Edins contribution to this club turning its fortunes around is huge, and Bonys contribution is nowt.
And that is a fact that cannot be argued.

Yes Edin contributed more than Bony has, where have I said otherwise?

I was simply looking at the statement that we would have "won fuck all without his goals". The same could be said about anyone else's goals or Joe's clean sheets. It's a team sport and Edin's goals would have been meaningless if it wasn't for other members of the team also pulling their weight.

Ok I agree they would have been meaningless without the clean sheets etc, clean sheets don't win games, goals win games and edin had a knack of scoring very important goals, generally bringing us back from being a goal down.

So someone's been on football leaks to find out if we paid VAT..

Do you pay the VAT if you register in the Cayman Islands?

The man mentioned in the news has no relation to Football Leaks.
Some irresponsible media are giving too much credit to an anonymous blog already blocked by WordPress.
Defamation is a serious offense, and we would like to challenge the press to show at least one single proof of those accusations. Just one proof that Football Leaks tried to blackmail at least one club.

Some people are just too desperate to discredit Football Leaks, and they are willing to use the dirtiest tactics possible. This is a very good sign, we are making a huge impact, and we feel all this project can really change something in the sport that we all love.

We will keep on fighting all this mafia!

What's this all about?

He can have Bony in a free. I'll drive him there this afternoon.

I think Bony has been very unfairly treated. He HAS score goals and he DOES get into positions to score. He was criticised for having SEVEN chances, only one on target? He had an initial drought period when joining the club partly due to never being given a full start at City after being a guaranteed starter at Swansea. The problem for him is that he has been getting stick even in a period when scoring every other game, so his confidence is shot because it's like he can't possibly do right. Now he is playing like the cap fits. He has a specific set of skills, very strong physically, plenty of guile and clinical finishing on form, but never a player with great mobility or pace, so don't judge him on that. Equally don't judge Toure on not being a box tO box midfielder at 32.

Take a look at @City_Watch's Tweet:

Bony isn't a patch on Dzeko. OK Edin missed a few, wasn't particularly quick and his touch a times wasn't great, nonetheless he at least looked like he wanted to score and didn't fear he'd catch the bloody plague if he went in the box!

Astonishing how we have gone backwards as a goal scoring force and paid millions for the pleasure.

This Guardiola best be the miracle worker so many believe him to be because he has got his work cut out.

He just doesn't fit our style of play. He clearly has skills but not those needed here.
I don't blame him but the the management team are responsible for bringing him in.
He will probably be brilliant if he goes to evertoon....

Think that's rubbish about his attributes , for a big guy he gets shoved off the ball easily.

I spent a lot of time watchin Bony yesterday, off the ball he is an ambler, he ambles around not really pressing. I dont think he is interested in doing his bes,t but more surviving the game and hopefully scoring. His body language is wrong.

I have had a lot of time for him, he is a confidence player, but I am beginning to believe we cant wait for him to get his confidence, he should be bringing that to a team that is low on confidence already, that's what we payed a lot of money for. West Ham can have him, and I am sure he will score goals for them, but City is too big a club for him

Completely agree we had Dzeko who scored and when he was in the mood he was unplayable and replaced him with a carthorse who is frightened of going in the box and goes backwards every time he picks up the ball.

Gaurdiola will shift this lump on asap because as Pellers has found out you cannot polish a turd.

Pellers seems to like him a lot. Let's hope he likes him enough to want to take him to Zenit for a sizeable fee.
