Hardly excessive at £1 a month to travel the globe and enrich of your psyche. It spanks of tip top value and soon very soon the the pièce de résistance will be that they all turn to blue.An expression of our Independence.

Plus the hassle of applying for visas for the countries and the £5.50 for the international driving licence and the additional cost of travel insurance for the 5 of us cos the EHIC won't be valid

No visas required for the proposed ETIAS system so happy days all round. The international licence wont bother me as the crazy's drive on the wrong side of the road and for the travel insurance I leave all that to my bezzie mate Mike from Newcastle ...Simples ..

Anyway everything is fine and dandy until the end of the transitional period in 2020 so break out your armbands and Piz Buin and crack on.On a final note we give a massive boost to European tourism and especially to our Spanich brothers who would be Donald Ducked without our input. This is why the sky will not fall in our travel plans..They wouldn't dare.

And last but not least someone is trying to have you over for a fat lad because passports don't cost £1220.00 and not even £122.00 which is only for fast track. The cost is £75.50 without fast track giving a superlative £0.69216 a month recurring.

I have enjoyed our chat today but I have to go back downstairs now.

As a matter of interest our shiny new blue passports are to made in Europe possibly France because its over a 100 million cheaper. If the scurrilous dogs that run our fine country would of given us all the option I would have voted for British people to make them and paid the extra few quid.Absolutely preposterous news and one that saddens me greatly leaving a bad taste on the palate !

My passport runs out in December so I'd planned to renew it after the CL games are out of the way. But it was issued in May 2009 and, apparently, those extra months beyond the 10 years are not recognised by the EU for a non EU country. So might need to book a trip to Durham or Liverpool early in April if we beat Shalke and get a non English club in the next round (and I can get a match ticket)

I quoted the price of £122 because that's what was asked for a passport to be issued before the 29th March

I think they have to be valid for 6 months but check to make sure.

Santa brought me a brand spanking new Swedish passport for Christmas - £29.50.
It pays to shop around.
