Last season some were throwing around insanely high net spends. I always felt around 100m would be realistic and that proved to be about right.
I predict the same this summer + a chunk of the extra TV money, so we're probably talking around £130m net, a British record.
I reckon fees for potential sales would be in the ranges of:
0m - Demichelis / Caballero
5m - 8m - Zabaleta / Toure / Kolarov
10m - 13m - Fernando / Delph / Navas
15m - 20m - Nasri / Bony
Loan to buy - Mangala
(we should get more than those fees but we never sell well)
Including the 11m from Jovetic we're owed this summer, I predict us getting around 65m from sales - I think Nasri and Fernando or Delph will stay - which would see less than 200m spent before sales

Soriano's comments about the squad size refers to Barca 2008 and is taken from a book he wrote many moons ago.There must be a huge clear out if this is true, especially when you consider Soriano's comments about the squad size.

2 bad seasons in a row, we can't really afford a third poor season - that's certainly not what ADUG/Mansour are looking for.
You don't hitch your skirt upto Pep for three seasons only to promise him Delphesque signings.
The problem as I see it is shifting players out.

We know about Pogba, who'd probably cost us something close to £100m plus there appears to be another very big deal in the pipeline that we've been working on intensively for a while.
Kroos ? Sane ? Aubameyang ? Weigl ?
You've got 17, I would add Gotze, Benatia and possibly Rode to get my 20.
Why on earth would you add Rode or Benatia? They are the definition of fringe players.
