Boooom

Unfortunately, how you've described Yaya there is most footballers. One of my lowest (if you can say that) moments last season was watching the team come out to training to be greeted by some disabled fans. Sergio didn't even make eye contact with them, just stood aloof for a photo and then buggered off

To be fair, that's not like Kun.

I saw that too and thought exactly the same, was surprised that Kun was like that. My faith was restored when I saw another video with the same fans with more footage that showed all the players interacting got to say that Chappie was looking after them and he was superb.

Bear in mind if your Sergio Aguero, a good 7/10 new people you walk past probably want a photo with you, hug, talk, shout your name etc. Every time your in public. Think of all those little 2-5mins that add up in your day whilst your trying to get things done, or get places. It's a big drain i'm sure.

True, but (and I know it's easy to say) there are about 200,000 reasons in his bank account each week why that kind of thing shouldn't be a drag

Money is irrelevant. Of course he makes the effort but when your tired, your tired etc.

Besides, he's paid for the time spent in his job. Just because he gets paid a shed load doesn't mean he should be expected to make the effort with every single person in his free time.

A friend of a friend played for city's academy and I remember him telling me Kun is a nob in real life. Obviously can't take his word as gospel but just saying.

Anywhere around the club the players are to be as approachable as possible!! They are role models and heroes and are instructed to be as such and as far as I can tell and have heard they are extremely accommodating to the fans. The supporters that are by the changing facilities that lead to the pitch are invited there for a reason and the players will know this and will be told to smile, have a photo and make the kids happy. THAT is the image of a family club and one that I think city portrays very well to be fair and the proof is the amount of awards CITC collects on a yearly basis.
