So there is hope then? ;-)

The BC has had an awful upheaval of a day and it was too soon, in retrospect, to introduce them.

Thanks for the advice and encouragement you two. xx

There is definitely hope. Holly cat can now lie against Shadow without a punch up and believe me they had serious punch ups over the years!!! The puppy cage was a god send. Good luck with her, they are the best dogs ever. I've had five, usually two-three at a time. I used to do obedience competitions with them, they've all loved working.

Thanks Sue.

Can I pm you if I need any more advice?

No problem, I'll certainly help if I can. I had a GSD as well, lost her when she was 13. She used to mother the neutuered tom I had at the time, washed him and everything

How're are things going?

Hi BB

Thanks for the interest.

Bit better now thanks. They can at least sit in the same room (although dog still has to be held) without both going completely OTT.

Gwen (the dog) is getting a bit calmer towards certain things. She hated the hairdrier and was lunging at it ferociously when she first heard it, but now just tries to round me up when I am using it. LOL!! She is wonderful with small children though and was as good as gold when a friend brought her two year old round the other day.

I think we have the makings of a lovely dog.

You have to lull them into a false sense of security first. Feed them for a few weeks and let them sleep in your greenhouse.
I nearly had one, but some ginger bird turned up and took it away in a van.
