In the past I could accept us going through a bad patch as we were either shit and had no money or just not having any luck, it happens.
When Hughes was having no luck last season, we were still playing nice stuff and we won a lot of games convincingly that season, so he could be forgiven for a bad spell.
However we look so poor this season, I feel we've gone backwards if anything.
We dominated Liverpool, played very well against Chelsea and did well at Salzburg and Poznan at home (although that's expected with them last two), but apart from that can anyone seriously say we've played well?
We've been so lucky in nearly every win we've had and have been battered by teams we should be beating in other games, we've played some of the most boring football since I've been watching City (at least Pearce had an excuse, he had no money!!)
I know to be a top team you have to play bad and still win, but we can't play bad nearly every game. The best teams dominate most games in their season, not the odd one.
He doesn't help himself with playing such negative tactics and players, leaving out creative and dangerous players, bringing on defenders for attacking players when we need a goal, getting rid of main goal threats in the summer and keeping donkeys.
I don't think he will improve us but I also wouldn't get rid of him unless we had a very good replacement available.
If anyone is enjoying watching the way City are playing now, please tell me why, because I can't see it.
This isn't a Hughes in or Mancini out thread. Just a question to other fans, seeing if you are actually enjoying watching City atm, because I've not met any that are.
Those lads in Poland should get their money back too.
